Scott King, as others in the contemporary artistic world, takes advantage of the use of interdisciplinary arts. He in fact comes from the world of design and rock music and is a great expert of mass culture and of the techniques of communication (art director of i-D Magazine and Sleazenation and designer of music covers). The British artist skillfully moves on the faint limit between advertisement-commerce and subversive criticism. Using radical-chic symbols and reducing pop heroes to mysterious and meagre graphic work, King creates in a mischievous and sly way caricatures like Madonna represented as Hitler, or Cher as Che Guevara.
