He started to work at the end of the Seventies, always following the political and artistic events of that period. In 1976, he opened another studio in Bari, where he organized and photographed the performances by foreign and Italian avant-garde artists. The pictures capturing more than thirty years of a creative scene which includes painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, dance, and theatre, have been collected in the Archivio Logico-Fotografico d’Arte e Architettura (Logical-Photographic Archive of Art and Architecture). His fine art photography of Abramovich, Acconci, Gina Pane or Hermann Nitsch’s performances, constitutes a path of knowledge in which the focus is not the artist or his/her work: the added value lies in the scene, the context, the set, and the public around them, just as if it was a creative performance.
