Her passion for stage photography, a long period training as apprentice with Cesare Accetta and a natural preference for black and white style made her choose to work and live in Naples, a city that inspires her work everyday. Mixing photography, drawing and video – she started to realize her most important projects, such as Credere (Believe), Mutamenti (Changings) and Orientamenti (Orientations), whose main subject is the human being. With Credere she investigates the South and the tradition of social and anthropological photography, while Ritratti (Portraits) constitutes a small catalogue of masques, hands, names and jobs; the teacher and the actor, the mechanic and the musician are symbols of the heterogeneity and multiplicity of a city that seems to stand for a global condition. The portraits are framed by neon lights that seem to recall those votive shrines scattered about Naples alleys and suburbs.
